This project was designed keeping in mind the need for such facilities in Auroville. The concept was to have a self sustaining campus for the elderly where they can have more freedom and an active lifestyle. The campus is designed on the guidelines of a temple but in a modern way keeping the present day context in mind. 

The design facilitates moving of the users which is a great necessaty to keep healthy at an older age. There are activities to keep one engaged out in the nature so that time spent inside the room in isolation can be minimised. The centeral court is meant to knit the whole campus into one big social family where theres communication, coordination and care.
