This project is located in Mohanam campus, Auroville, due to the increasing number of students, a small multipurpose classroom was proposed. This rectangular plan can accomodate 40-50 kids. The design elements are kept similar to the campus style with pitched roof with country tiles, rammed earth walls and Bamboo.

Vernacular architecture of the south combined with earth and bamboo construction develops an interesting design setup, there is a corridor running along the longer side of the building which acts as a transition semi public space and has bamboo columns supporting a bamboo roof with Manglore tiles, this leads to the main hall which can be used as a big classroom, two smaller classrooms or an activity space for the kids.
